Stream Ecology, Aquatic Entomology, Ecological Stoichiometry, and Global Change

The Evans-White Lab currently has three main funded projects. First, we study the habitat requirements and update species distributional maps for Capniid winter stoneflies. We are also modeling the effects of climate change on distributions of stoneflies and other aquatic insects. Second, we examine the effects of salinization and eutrophication of inland freshwaters. Third, we are examining the stoichiometry of host-virus interactions.
